14 year old Shayna runs away from her group-home and into the truck of a dangerous stranger. As a result, she becomes one of Canada’s 1200 plus Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. 
Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs is a film and television actress, mainly known for her leading role as Aila in the award-winning feature film Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013). She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards for Rhymes, and has also been featured in numerous productions such as APTN’s Mohawk Girls (2015), the miniseries, Exploding Sun (2013).
